Nearing the end of his North American Tour, K-R&B artist Colde made his way down to the House of Blues Anaheim to give a performance that was nothing less than amazing!
Kim Heesoo, better known as Colde, first gained recognition as part of the indie duo offonoff. Colde's solo career took off with the release of his debut EP Wave in 2018, showcasing his soulful voice and unique approach to music. His introspective lyrics and mellow production quickly resonated with fans, helping him carve a distinct space in the Korean music scene.

Accompanying him on this segment of the tour was soloist Milena, who opened the night with an indescribable energy performing her debut single “Night Train” and “Letter.” Cheers filled the room as everyone became entranced by her angelic voice, serenading the audience. She closed out her set with her latest song, “why do we fall in love?,” which was complemented by her handing out small trinkets for fans to hold onto. She thanked the crowd once again for their high energy and exited the stage.

As fans chattered about how great the opening set was, the lights suddenly dimmed and Colde came out to perform songs like “Toxic Love” and “Heartbreak Club.” As Colde’s voice rang through the venue, you could also hear the crowd singing and dancing along to every beat. Right from the start, Colde made it a priority to connect with those who came out to his show, talking with them and asking them how he should spend his time in Anaheim. In moments when you didn’t hear a song, you could hear everyone laughing and talking as if they were old friends catching up. Soon the melodies of “if you love me” and “Poem (Shhh)” played, right before the stage was handed to his band and musical duo, Basecamp.

Once Colde left the stage, Basecamp had reassured fans that Colde would be back and that they were going to perform a few songs in the meantime. They opened up with their song “Okay,” which was well-received. Before continuing on, they disclaimed to the crowd that they were a bit nervous since this tour was the first time they would be singing live, and the audience reassured them as they cheered loudly; Basecamp closed out their set with “Sun and Life” and “Elephant Man.”
The highlight of the night was when Colde came out with a completely different outfit, something that had become a tradition on his tour. Rocking a Mickey Mouse T-Shirt with the words “I love Anaheim” written across, the fans started pulling their phones out and recording the moment for themselves to remember. However, he also mentioned to the crowd that he had made an extra shirt to give to someone, which excited everyone. And as he spoke with the fans, he handed off the shirt to a lucky fan to cherish. Colde then went on to perform a few more hits including “Nirvana Blues,” “I Fxxking Love You,” and “I Color You,” which had the audience singing along.
Closing out his concert, Colde performed songs including “WA-R-R,” “After Everything,” and “Star,” which had the crowd cheering wildly. As he thanked his fans for an amazing night and left the stage, a round of applause filled the venue, loud enough that you could hear the clapping and excitement outside. Yet, no one wanted the night to be over, yelling his name and asking for an encore, which Colde happily delivered. He came back out to sing a few cover songs, like “Dance” and the unexpected “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” which had everyone going crazy.
